It's all about music and we'll do what it takes to be able to play some cool songs! /AnniMe

To fix your broken headphones (assuming the chord is the problem) is really a piece of cake if you dare to use wires that don't look like sewing thread. Here's how I did it:
1) Get 4 colourful wires, a soldering iron and a multimeter
2) Remove old wires and make a nice braid of the new ones. This link may come in handy: http://www.wikihow.com/Make-a-Four-Strand-Braid-from-1,-2-or-4-Pieces
3) Use the multimeter to figure out what's left, right and ground on your input jack and solder the cables accordingly to the jack and to the speaker elements. This link may help you: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TRS_connector#Tip-ring-sleeve_terminology
4) Plug them in and play some cool songs.
5) Enjoy music. Enjoy life!
